    Apes Dismantle Snares

Bushmeat traps are ubiquitous contraptions in central Africa. Most are homemade and illegal. Not only are the traps deadly to their intended prey (antelope, wild boar, etc) but also to chimpanzees and gorillas. Just this past July, a group of gorillas in Rwanda were witnessed deactivating a snare.

Come face-to-face with portraits of endangered species and confront who we are pushing off the planet. Some of these species are no longer exist out in the wild. Joel started on the project five years back after reading an essay on amphibian decline. He realized he needed to show these threatened species to the world before they were gone forever.

Here are a few videos that give us a glimpse into other species' minds...although they are forced to communicate in our language, under our conditions. Imagine if we could decipher their languages?
